- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy in collaboration with sales, marketing, and channel partners to drive new business in managed services.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture new leads, maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Lead sales calls and meetings, managing the sales process from discovery to closing.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of opportunities.
- Analyze client needs and collaborate with technical teams to design and propose customized managed services solutions, including cloud services, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and remote monitoring.
- Develop and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to clients, clearly outlining the value proposition of the proposed solutions.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert in discussions, providing clients with guidance on IT solutions that best meet their business goals.
- Provide necessary sales collateral and training to internal teams, ensuring they are equipped to sell managed services effectively.
- Manage contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring all agreements are aligned with company standards and client expectations.
- Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure smooth transitions and timely contract renewals, managing the entire sales lifecycle from prospect to post-sale.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Transition new contracts smoothly to Service Account Managers for onboarding and continuous client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients, maximizing revenue.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including customer success, implementation, and support, to ensure services are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Provide valuable feedback from client interactions to refine service offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
- Partner with other departments to drive process improvements, ensuring operational efficiency and a positive client experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in IT managed services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
- Use insights from market research to position TeamLogic IT as a market leader in the managed services space.
- Share industry knowledge with internal teams to keep them aligned with best practices and evolving client demands.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years in managed IT services sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of managed IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, disaster recovery, and data protection.
- Sales Expertise: Proven experience in lead generation, qualification, and consultative selling of complex IT solutions. Ability to create proposals and manage a full sales cycle.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or vendor-specific certifications are a plus.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a solution-oriented approach.
- Highly customer-centric, with a deep commitment to delivering high-quality services and building lasting relationships.
